High school dating advice, Please Read.?

Well, im in high school and haven't had much of a dating life. I've hooked up with a few girls here and there, maybe went out with one or two for a week at most.





But there's this girl. I have known her for about 2 years, and have gotten to really know her best the last few months. lets call her ';L';. I have a friend who ive only known since December, we will call him ';G';. I met ';G'; because he was dating ';L';. When i first met him i thought he was w.e, but we became pretty good friends.





I tend to flirt with people just as i would talk to them, its a natural thing for me. I really like ';L'; and i flirt with her more than i do with others but she usually goes along with it. ';L'; may not be the most attractive girl in the school, but i care about her, shes funny, and just an all arround great girl.





';G'; and ';L'; broke up recently, and ';L'; has came to me for some support. So i have two questions.





1. Would it be wrong to date my friends ex, even though he said it would be fine?





2. If it is ok... Should i go for it? Do you think i have a chance? if i do get rejected, do things stay awkward or do things (eventually) go back to normal.

ok, so first of all i hate the stupid ';RULE'; that says you cannot date your friends' EX.... its lame! what if they were meant for you but you couldn't date her because your best friend dated her?!? lame, lame, LAME!


so what advice i have for you, if you really care about her and think she will say yes if you ask her, then do it... your friend shouldn't have a say in who you date, its not there choice, its yours, you are the one that will have to live with it [literally!!]


and finally things may get awkward if You get rejected, just make sure you stay yourself, and you don't avoid her without thinking... stay close as friends and it should all go back to normal soon after that.

if you have permission from your friend to date his ex than ya ur fine there. and i would say u do have a chance. i mean shes in an emotional stae right now so she will turn to u for support. just be nice and see what happens dont force anything.
