Dating advice please?

I started talking with a girl I met online from a dating website. We started to hit it off and I know for a fact she likes me.





Asked her out last night for tonight and she originally said yes because she was excited to meet me but she just sent me a text message saying she's not able to go because she thought she was ready but she saw she wasn't.





She says she still wants to talk to me but not meet right away.





Any advice how to proceed with this?

Give it time, let her get comfortable enough to meet you in person. Also, don't ask her out the night before...ask her no later than Tues or Wed for a Sat night date. Maybe she would be more comfortable just meeting for coffee for a few minutes the first time, if so, same thing, make arrangements at least 3-4 days ahead of time. It's entirely possible that she got nervous, which means that she really wasn't ready. Give her a couple of weeks. If she won't meet you in a couple of weeks then I would move on and start looking for other girls. Good luck!
No point rushing as she is not ready yet. Looking from another perspective, this could be a boon rather than a bane.





Sometimes what matters the most is being comfortable with each other... If she feels that she is not ready yet, then you would just say, oh ok, perhaps next time...





On the other hand, she will appreciate it and has a good impression of you for being understanding ..





So all in all, just try again in a couple of days, or in a couple of weeks, probably ask her out for an outing which bases on similar interest, like going to gym or something like that...
