We will be in England for the summer %26amp; we are intersted in maybe dating. We are both over 21, si no interest in teenagers. Any advice on locations to meet nice, mature %26amp; attractive english men to hang out with while we are there?Any dating advice for 2 girls travelling alone to England for the summer?
England is littered with bars, pubs and clubs everywhere. Especially if the town has a university, the place will be full of people your age. Remember that the drinking age is lower, so people your age won't have only just started drinking.





The pubs are very informal and they have them all over. Most places you are in England, there will be one (or ten!) within walking distance.





Bars tend to be a little more upscale, but still pretty informal.





Clubs tend to have a dress code, no jeans, teeshirts, sneakers or flip flops. Even crappy clubs require you to make some effort in your look. Most clubs have pretty good security so you can feel safe there. Decent sized clubs will have taxi cabs near by, clearly identified, and for a few quid you can get home safely.





But drinking is a big part of the culture in England, so anywhere that sells alcohol would be a good place to meet someone!





But specifics will vary depending on location. Remember that England is like America, but flipped. By that I mean that the north has a reputation for being a little more friendly, with strange accents, more industrial stuff, more unemployment, more poverty, lower prices. The south is more affluent, nicer accents, more expensive, people with good jobs, more stuff to do.

London is a vast city with nearly seven million people living in it. There may be plenty of people who are not from there, but they live there. Report Abuse

As to the maturity of Brits, I'm not saying that they are mature, but they are given a lot more responsibilities at a younger age that typical Americans, so you be the judge. Enjoy your trip. Report Abuse

You can find dates ANYWHERE really. It's just a combination of luck and timing really.


Try out the local clubs and pubs wherever you're staying, obviously try the beach, maybe some of the local shopping centres, and places like the cinema.
