Dating advice?

i need some dating advice. i was on that okcupid site for a week before i decided it was silly, but a guy i had met at a party contacted me and i remember thinking he was very nice and i was attracted to him. we've been texting alot the last few days...but i don't like texting. i told him to give me like two weeks or so and maybe we could get coffee. but the situation makes me nervouse. i only met him very breifly, i'm afraid it's going to be akward. and also...when i met him before, i was at this party with a good friend of his, we're ';feeling eachother out'; but never wound up really dating. while i was with his friend, he was talking to MY best friend and he seemed to like her (in a friendly way) he doesn't remember me yet because it was a costume party and i was dressed up, but i'm afraid he's going to recognize me and be like ';oh...u were that OTHER girl'; idk, i just hate how uncomfortable this whole situation is...but i really like him and don't want to call it quits. advice?Dating advice?
Why dont you get to know him. if your nervouse the next day see him in his house and start chating. Then tell him Hi, what you doing. Then when he says somin say why dont we get some coffee today then go out when you and him have finished go back to his house and say do u like me a lot if he says yes asked him can i kiss you then in a few years you will get married(i dont know how old u r)

true it might be an awkward situation but maybe it won't be. all you can do is see how it goes if it's awkward oh well you'll get over it. if you don't try and see how things go you'll end up regretting it so go for it.
ok y dont u email him a picture asking him if it looks good to send to a friend, then he will know that its u by the picture n c what he has to say about u b4 u go out then if says its cool it wont b akward jus do somethin to let him c u 1st b4 u go w/ him
Keep over-analyzing the situation until the opportunity passes.
