Dating Advice Please?

I've been dating a great guy for about a month and a half now. We get on like a house on fire, and there's definitely more than enough chemistry.





The thing is that he says he's not ready to make a commitment i.e. make it official, cause he's ';not in the right mind space at the moment';!? He says he needs to be 100% sure as he promised himself that the next one will be THE ONE.





I find this way of thinking tooooo analytical. I mean life is unpredictable and exiting and you never know when someone will sweep you off your feet! How will you know if you don't give something a fair chance?





His view on our connection is starting to make me feel insecure, and loose interest and even get a little irritated and I'm not sure how to behave around him. Should I be more like a girlfriend or more like a friend? I'm like: ';How difficult can it be to know if you want to or not!?';





So my question is: Am I impatient?

you cant blame him for keeping his heart protected until he knows he can give it to someone who wont hurt him.
