Dating advice needed, did i screw up ?

I recently had a date with a girl about 2 weeks ago with a girl i worked with who i didn't really know but still asked out because she seemed interesting! And we had a nice time and she even told me herself and i asked her for a second date to which she replied maybe!?





So afew weeks pass by and theres afew texts back and forth between me and her and its just friendly banter! And then one drunken night i texted her to ask her to a big party involving work colleagues.. well she said she couldn't go due to new work commitments so i called and i was wasted at the time and i mistook her dead grandmother for her mom in conversation and well what was even worse was that i asked her by text to take her out again! to which i have had no reply to, for about a week!





So my question is what should i do next?! should i beg for forgiveness, keep on trying or just leave her? And yes i really do like this girl!!Dating advice needed, did i screw up ?
