Need dating advice (16-year old High-Schooler)!?

OK there is a guy that I really like and I know for a fact he is gay so that isn't a problem at all. My problem is I barely know him! I have class with him and sit with him at lunch, but we don't ever talk in class and we will occasionally say something to eachother at lunch but only a sentence, we never have solo conversations. I want to ask him out but seeing as we hardly know eachother I don't want too seem creepy . Should I just suck up my nervousness and pull him aside when I see him and tell him I really like him and ask if he wanted to go somewhere and get to know eachother better? Or would it be a little too creepy to ask him out if we don't know eachother that well?Need dating advice (16-year old High-Schooler)!?
jesse?Need dating advice (16-year old High-Schooler)!?
just talk

he won't think you're creepy

keep it going though, you don't want it to get awkward
Force yourself to have a conversation(about topics that he and you will be interested in or about common interests) with him in class, lunch, wherever. The thing is too be comfortable with him, and he with you, when the time comes to where you want to ask him out.
Maybe start with some social togetherness that is less ';formal';. You could get a burger after school to continue a topic of discussion you begin at lunch.

Ask about HIS interests, then take an interest in something HE likes. Tell him you'd like to hear more about it, then ask him to meet you after school.

It's a whole lot easier to meet about a common interest, if the interest is NOT strictly a ';date'; or sexual interest. If you start with this... then you guys can decide from there if you have a mutual attraction.
just ask. i know it's nerve-racking trying to talk to someone you barely know, but if you don't ask, you'll never receive.
Its one of the hardest things you'll ever do. My advice is just to steel yourself and just ask him out. If thats too much pressure, contrive a way to share an experience. Join a club or after school activity hes in. Partner on a class project or ask him for help with homework. Just don't let the opportunity pass. You've got to at least try or you will regret it. Nothing good is ever gained without risk.

good luck
