Relationship & Dating Advice?

I need your help with a situation that has been killing me. I am really into this girl who I have been dating faithfully for the last 2 months and I would be open to the possibility of taking things further as they develop. My one problem is that I don't feel she pays enough attention to detail, small and big. My current problem is that our birthdays are September 11 (me) %26amp; 14 (her), and this year (2008) my birthday was on a Thursday, hers on Sunday. She came over on Thursday and hung out that night, but she had a weekend set up from before (family function and special event for job) so I didn't see her the rest of that weekend. I found out on Sunday night (September 14)that she planned to have a huge party FOR HERSELF and even got her friend to plan it for the next week, yet she knew that I was stressed out about getting older and that I have been wanting to throw a party (I just got a new house). She expects me to attend her birthday weekend, even though she didn't make mine.





1. Am I overreacting to her not coming through on my birthday weekend and not planning a party for an alternate time?





2. What should I do about her birthday weekend which starts Friday, should I go and have fun with her and her friends or should I not attend the function? Note: If I don't go Friday should I not attend anything for the entire weekend???Relationship %26amp; Dating Advice?
