High School Dating Advice?

Okay, so I this friend 'Beth' who likes this guy 'Nick'. Beth is really into him and wants Nick to ask her out because she doesn't believe in girls asking guys out. I told her to go for it but she never did. So (with her permission) I sat down with Nick and told him I think he should ask Beth out. He was like, ';What? Really?';. He seemed kind of excited at first, like he thought I was going to ask him out, then seem disappointed that it was about Beth. He never did ask her out, but ever since then I have been noticing strange stuff. Sometimes during lunch I catch him looking at me then he notices me noticing him noticing me he quickly looks away. I can tell he doesn't like Beth the way she likes him, but I am afraid he likes me that way. He is kinda cute and nice and I would kinda like to go out with him, but what about Beth!?! I am so confused. Should I tell her what I think or just let her be? Should I ask him out to try to get him to ask her out? Should I ask him out because I like him or what??? God, high school is the worst!High School Dating Advice?
Why don't you get both of them to eat lunch with the three of you, But before you do give your friend your opinion of what you think. That way if he chooses you she as your best friend should understandHigh School Dating Advice?
Don't make any assumptions right away. Sure, maybe he doesn't like Beth and it seems like he likes you, but it'd be better to get him to clarify. If you haven't already told Beth that Nick doesn't see her in that way you should definitely do that otherwise she'll be waiting for a lost cause.





To me it sounds like you've just realized you like Nick which makes me question whether or not you actually have feelings for him, or just like him because you feel like he's taking interest in you. Talk to Beth, wait things out and see how it goes.

My friend Sky liked this guy Seth and when I told him (with her permission also) that she liked him, he didnt seem to really digg her. Well we started talking behind her back and she found out and was very psd off.. Even though to my face she was like I dont care and Im happy for you. I still talked to him and we ended up dating for 3 months. She never got over it but she remained my friend.. but with some remorse.





From my experience, you need to just lightly mention to her ohh haha wouldnt it be funny if me and him started dating..just to see what she wouold say jokingly. I mean no guy should ever come between friends.. it doesnt matter how cute or sweet he is. And if youre just starting high school, girl, you have plenty of time to find guys lol. But if she is a good friend she'll respect your and his decision..
