Both Mormon,dating advice?

Mormon dating rules.?

My boyfriends and I are intimate and mormon.I converted to Mormonism 3 mnths ago and he has been religious his whole life.Although we are facing difficulties,we plan on facing our difficulties and finding a way to follow the straight and narrow path.He is going on his mission soon I refuse to give up hope that we may strength our relationship with God together.Yesterday we had family night with his mom, discussing scriptures and seeing him being so diligent and as a Man of God...I know God does not face us with challenges that are more than we can handle...And I love him and Our Saviour.I came back from a religious program a couple days ago and I don't plan on taking what I learnt and not putting it to good use.I've been praying, reading scriptures but I want more advice on the rules of Mormon dating and what I can do.My boyfriend does not want to go to the bishop and we plan on facing this together in the eyes of God, by other means which i'm sure alot of you disagree on but I believe that We Can do this. Please help with mormon relationship advice and rules. Both Mormon, dating advice?
Going to the Bishop is the only way to get the correct answers. It seems your boyfriend doesn't want to do this because you have already been intimate. You may not understand the Mormon ';consequences'; of of intimacy outside of marriage, but he does. Both Mormon, dating advice?
So you want to repent, but you don't want to go through the bother of the repentance process???

Go see your respective bishops.
You would get better answers if you put this in the religion %26amp; spirituality section love : )
prayer n bless you for being strong
it's not even a real religion..... just do what you want
I'm Mormon, and I served a mission. Here is my advice to you both:

--How can he think that he will have the spirit to help him in his mission if he has a sin that needs to be repented of? He will be under more condemnation from God if he goes to the temple unworthily, and if he goes on a mission unworthily. This is a case of him ';fearing man more than God';. He is more worried about what his parents will say, or his Bishop will say, than what God thinks about all of this. I say RUN, don't walk, to the Bishop and start the repentance process.

--You can't repent of this sin by yourself. The Lord has made it very clear that in order to repent, this sin has to be confessed to the Bishop. If you don't do that, it can't be forgiven. It doesn't matter how many people you tell, or how you justify it, you can't be forgiven unless you follow the rules the Lord has set.

--Mormon dating rules:

1. Don't date before 16

2. Don't single date until 18

3. Don't ';makeout'; or ';pet'; Pet means to touch each other in private areas.

4. Don't have sex before marriage.

In addition, I suggest that you never lay down together.

You can read more by going to the LDS website and reading the ';For the Strength of Youth Pamphlet';

Let me just be really honest here. You guys are in deep doo doo. :) You both need to talk to the Bishop, and he probably will not be allowed to serve a mission. Your very membership could be in jeopardy if you don't follow this advice. I know that sounds harsh, but the Lord wants missionaries who are clean, and who obey the commandments.
Even tho I am ex-mormon I would say if he is not a jackmormon he has to go to the Bishop an dyou have to STOP being intimiate ASAP! He cannot go on a missiontrip like this, if he runs into a female that opens th edoor in her nothing ness his mind will not be clean and on the mission at hand I can guarnatee you! and some women think its a joke to open the door to the elders wearing little or nothing.

My brother incountered this and they were stupid enough to stutter thru a lesson while the women was half naked.

You cannot go to the temple and either can he, unless he plans on lying.
mormonism is a condradictory of the actual bible, do yourself a favor get out of that stupid religion, and even better become an atheist because there is no god no angels, there is nature

Need some dating advice please!?

Ok here's the deal. I met this guy recently online (we happen to be have been classmates in high school). He mentioned that he liked me in high school but he was a bad boy and i was a good girl ( all true) and he didnt want to corrupt me...lol. Well we have now had 2 dates and had a gr8 time and have chemistry. The dliema is he is going thru a divorce. It was filed end of feb and is final in sept. He has been living seperate from her for 6 wks.The reason for the divorce is ever since their daughter was born 6 yrs ago she has ignored him, no affectionate, doesnt want to spend time with or talk to him, intimate 1x yr, she spends all her time with the kid and none with family friends or ever by herself.etc...they tried to work it out once and this is the 2nd time they've filed. I dont feel they will work it out, and he said hes been past it all for years now. Should I wait till he is divorced to cont to date him?

I really am starting to like him and he's changed a whole 360 since schoolNeed some dating advice please!?
I would suggest taking it slow being that there is a possibiity that the marriage may still be salvagable...Do you know for sure he has filed? Congrats on giving him a chance however and realizing that people do change and growNeed some dating advice please!?
i would take everything extremely slow. Hang out for a bit, but don't make anything official until either the divorce is final or its getting closer. Divorces can get bitter and maybe he needs a friend to get through it all. Be there for him and let him know that you care, but under no circumstance be introduced to his daughter as Daddy's girlfriend. That right there makes everything a lot harder on the child and the divorce that much bitter. If when his divorce is final you want to try a relationship, go for it. But in the mean time, don't rush anything because it isn't just the two of you in the relationship. You also have his daughter's feelings to consider.
totaly. mostly because he'll be in stressed moods and the dates wont be as good, trust me i should know my parents are in a divorce i know how they act

  • Race and dating?? Advice please?

Im not you to usually take dating advice but I have a little problem. I'm hispanic and white and have always been attracted to hispanic men..

I recently started talking to someone new a couple of months ago.. He is black.. Most of my male and female friends are black or mixed with black, my step father is black, and all four of my half siblings are mixed, but I have never been attracted to a black guy..

At first I was not attracted to him at all, but he is probably the sweetest guy I've ever talked to which makes me very attracted to his personality but I'm still unsure if I have any physical attraction towards him.. Should I keep talking to him and see where it goes or am I leading him on??

    Advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks in advance!!Race and dating?? Advice please?
of course you should keep talking to him and see what happens. Don't be afraid to try something new... and also try to be color blind with this. However, try not to force yourself to like him because you are trying something new. I know alot of sweet guys but i'm not attracted to all of them so it might be the same for you. good luck

    Parents and Dating Advice?

everytime i want to go out with someone my mom starts asking all these questions. and being all over-protective. she says i shouldn't go behind her back but she's forcing me to. im at the end of 7th grade. and she's giving me a hard time about dating. wtf? everybody else i kno says there parents have no problemo with it. and why is it such a big deal. but she wont even see it through my point of veiw.

she takes things so serious. like we're having sex or something. but its not even like that. maybe we will want to go to the movies or or to the mall or sum. but im not stupid. im not going to do anything over the limits. or let anyone do anything to me that im not comfortable with. i have tried to explain this to her but she wont even listen. she thinks im trying to be ';fast'; or ';grown'; but she wont even let act like a normal pre-teen. im soooo upset that i have to sneak and do stuff. i cant even tell her anything!Parents and Dating Advice?
well maybe its cause she knows how yhu roll lolzz..jp bhutt yhur moms loves yhu and only wants the best..she dnt want yhu to be like all tthese fast lil girls with babies in the 7th grade..she just showing yhur her love..bhutt maybe you should talk to her about and work out an agreement! lubb ya boo!Parents and Dating Advice?
Maybe it's because your still in middle school. She should start to trust you when you enter high school. But any way she's a mother, alright. It is her job to look after her kids and to make sure they don't get into any trouble. Also things arent the same as they are now, she's probably been in the same situation at one point. I suggest you talk to your mother about this, and try and work something out.
She's just overprotective of you, and doesn't want you to do something, and regret it later on. She's just watching over you. Or it's possible she doesn't trust you. I'm a freshman, and I felt the same way, whenever my mom told me stuff like, ';You can't have a bf, you're just gonna end up getting pregnant,'; and my reply was always, ';I'm not! I'm not stupid...'; But to be honest hun, I have a boyfriend, and my moms okay with it now, and we've been together for 6 months, and we talk about sex all the time. Although we're not ready for it now, as you grow up, you'll hear this and that about him and her not being virgins, and you'll feel pressured about it, and rushed to start doing it. I don't plan on doing it anytime soon, but there's a slight possibility, that when there's a coecidal (sp) chance, we just might end up doing it. But , like I said, your mom just cares.

    Need some dating advice here?

first of all i want to point out that this advice is for my friend who is a girl so i need advice to give to her.

so her problem is that she is in love with this guy. but the guy is already seeing some other girl. she has already decided to do whatever it takes to get him and needs some advice on what her next move should be. they have already spent some time together and have really hit it off, (i don't mean sex, they haven't done that. he has felt her up though) but recentley the guy stopped talking to her and went back to hs girlfriend. they do speak occasionally but he is trying to stay with his current GF. in about two weeks we will all be going on a trip with the two of them together. the thing is, his GF won't be there. last time ths happened they hit it off but that lead to hom not speaking to her. she really likes him and doesn't want to do anything stupid that could ruin her chances with him. what advice would you give her in this situation?

PS: not sure if he like herNeed some dating advice here?
Tell her NOT to try anything on a guy who has a girlfriend. If he caves, it means he's untrustworthy, and she shouldn't want to be with him anyway. She should probably leave him alone, because his girlfriend obviously means a lot to him.

Tell her to just tell him how she feels. He may pick his girlfriend over her, but that will at least be a sign for her to move on.Need some dating advice here?
I would tell her to just be her self, and don't try anything to drastic, almost ignore the guy, he already knows he could have her at any moment, so i think if she tries this, the guy will come around and pursue her, because he will think she doesn't like him now. And believe me once the guy knows that she isn't interested, that's when he will want her even more.
well if he is gonna to feel her than not talk to her after it than screw him and also doesnt condiser cheating and if she likes her than tell her to tell him how she feels after she gets to know the real him
    I would tell her ';honey, he has a bf. and he isn't leaving her for you, otherwise he would have come running. get over him and move on.';
    What up Marco,

Personally i would advise my friend not to hook up with someone who has a girlfriend but is willing to feel up someone who is not his girlfriend.

i know she likes him- but think about the girlfriend- she doesn't deserve to be treated like that and if he does it to his girlfriend what makes your friend think he won't do it to her.

Sounds like a dog to me.

    Nickster
well it's obvious she's flirting with him alot and he's taking the bait. tell her to move on and that trying to get him while he's a relationship will only strain or possibly break their friendship because it seems to me that he regrets his actions after he makes a move on your friend
find a guy that doesnt have a gf.

    drama makes my head hurt.
Okay..she should just try being friends with him and let him know the real her. With him having a girlfriend...I think they have already went to far. Which may lead him to thinking she is easy..[skank,trashy] When in reality she is most likely not..just willing to go that extra mile for him. I think she should let him know how she feels after trying to be just friends..and a friend of her (you) could help her out by asking the guy if he's interested. On yalls trip she should look outstanding and be totally free...cute %26amp; flirty never hurts. But most of all a good friend who listens and talks..what's meant to be will be.

    Hopee it helpsss : )
chance has already been ruined. He doesn't like her as much as she hopes. If he did he would of left his GF in a heart beat. Tell the girl to stop chasing him... once she stops he'll see what he missed out on and he'll be doing the chasing. Tell her to give him samples of her goodies not the whole meal. (however that phrase goes)
tell her to wait, itll come:)
    Go after him.
